My Intention was to create an anime character with cell shading look and typical anime physiognomy (HUGE eyes). It was a project to learn some technics i never used before, like SSS and the Hair system. Then i decided to do something more with her face, and dumped the Idea of cell shading and stuff. (i can't make a simple project, it always develope into something more)

Futuristic Aircraft " BAT-42"

This aircraft was planned as a part of the Urban Landscape Animation.
Since this project is on ice i decided to bring at least a still of this object. It is some kind of an vertical takeoff and landing aircraft.
In the picture It flights around 10000 m above ground. My intention was to create a bulky, more ugly aircraft with no visible windows, so you can't see inside. It is some kind of an buisseness machine like an leerjet. It was planned that the character from my last picture "Urban Landscapes" jumps on the plane as it attempts to land on a rooftop, then cut off one wing with his mighty samurai sword then jumps away while the vehicle crashes. I don't know if i will still make it, but i am sure i will animate this vehicle in some way.

This is a scene with my first character in it. I created him over a year ago, but now i decided to create a whole scene for him.
As you can see i am a fan of The Matrix, wich coloursheme i borrowed for my scene. I really like this neon colours.
My aim was it to archieve an dark , moody and dense look, which resembles the style of The Matrix or Ghost in the Shell.
In both movies their Main Character likes to stand high above the ground, wearing a long coat which is waving in the wind.

Rendered with Cinema 4d, Composing with Photoshop.
82 lights ~250000 polys. No Radiosity or Raytracing used.
I used clothilde for the coat, and the Hair module to create his hair,sky-module for the sky. More than half of the textures are procedural maps.
For the Wrinkles on the coat i used Displacement Maps.
Thats all, nothing special used. 100% Boxmodelling.

Please feel free to comment and critisize, but be kind to me, i am not an pro (yet).

Concept Car "Romero"

This is the first car i modelled and the first Image i did with Maya and Mental Ray.
Also it was the first time for me to experiment with HDRI-Illumination.

The model was created by boxmodeling, after some rough sektches i did for the front, rear and side views.
My goal by the design was it, to create a look wich is classic and resembles the 70s and 80s a little bit, but is at the same time modern as well.
The illumination for the car is an HDRI image, for the background i used standard lights.
Postproduktion is done with Photoshop.
This time the opject you see is 100 % from the renderer, i only did some minor retouchments, like the radial blur and these layer on the right edge of the image. I created some random objects from splines, and merged them together, there was no planing and no intention.
Hope you like it.

I tried to model the main charakter from the anime "Jin Roh".
The design is taken direkt from the movie, i tried to stay close to the original, but it was kind of tricky since the movie is created the oldscool way, everything in 2D. That makes it difficult to get exact front and linear side views.
The Modell is finished, but i will work on the textures later.
The plan was to make a short animation of him, walking in the sewers, wielding his gun and shoot some bad guys.
My Mom always bugged me that i should create something with flowers ( she likes kitschy pictures). I always refused. This is the first image i created which contains flowers.
Most of the Object you see are rendered then imported into Photoshop. In the end i had around 50 Layers and no more free RAM I did this picture just for fun, i hope you like it that much as i do.

This is one of the works i did in the train. I always tried to draw everything from my memory of fantasy. Thats why it looks more like an comic.
