This is the first car i modelled and the first Image i did with Maya and Mental Ray.
Also it was the first time for me to experiment with HDRI-Illumination.
The model was created by boxmodeling, after some rough sektches i did for the front, rear and side views.
My goal by the design was it, to create a look wich is classic and resembles the 70s and 80s a little bit, but is at the same time modern as well.
The illumination for the car is an HDRI image, for the background i used standard lights.
Postproduktion is done with Photoshop.
